A tale of a lost wallet
After parking d car at Sg Expo open carpark ( My 3rd round of re-shopping for JL sale there), opened d door and I realised dat I stepped on something 'hard'.. It was a red long ladies wallet.... Hmmmm.. Must b d passenger who was 2 eager 2 rush for the SG expo sale dat she muz have dropped her wallet.... D 1st ting on my mind was ' how is she gonna shop and pay for her all d shopping)... n she muz b 2 bz shopping dat she didnt even realise dat shes' wallet-less' or she muz have a rich boyfriend who is paying for all her purchases...
Typical Sporean, muz bz browsing over d sales items.. But boy I was wrong, her Ic is blue not pink, Singapore PR... I flipped her wallet 2 search for her name card... But all d name card doesnt seem to belong 2 her... She has many credit cards thou... Being in d banking industry, I randomly picked a credit card and called the hotline... Gave the CSo d customer's credit card number and full name and asked the CSo to connect me to customer via conference call as I found her wallet...
Call was connected and
Me : Miss, I found your wallet. I tink u muz have dropped it while u rush 2 d sale...
Miss : ya ya... Thankz a lot..
Me : Can u please come and meet me asap. N can I have d car plate no for verification please
Miss: Ok it XXXXX.... Are u leaving soon...??\
Me : No, Im also rushing for d sale. Can u come asap
Miss: Ok
5 mins later, I saw a Chinese lady pleasantly plump running 2wards my direction... I asked her for her name and passed d wallet 2 me... Her boyfriend who is also pleasantly plump smiled and thanked me profusely and said that her gf was 2 excited abt d sale dat she didnt even realise her wallet is missing....
Hmmmm.... I felt good d whole day coz I shopped till I dropped at the JL sale and d book fair....
