Rabun Ayam and Blind As A Bat
At dis age, I kinda having a tinge of regret for failing to take proper care of my eyes aka windows of d soul from d day I was only slightly myopic (from primary school)... D degree seemed to increase like nobody's business, it stabalised den at a recent eye check my degree increase by 50. (For d past 5 years it was ok). Babi betul.. Dah lah semua naik :- tambang bus n MRT naik, GST naik, harga barang2 naik , degree aku pun nak ikut trend naik jugak.. Babi betul... Makin rabun lah tanpa teropong ajaib ku aka cermin mata tebal ku atau lens ku...
One tings for sure, Im not telling u wat my degree is... Malu beb...
Now I have 2 get a new prescribed glasses (dat I only wear at home coz I hate glasses!!) and new disposable lenses again... My eyes cant accept normal disposable lens, it has 2 be long wear day n nite lens... 3 pieces (and not pairs) cost 36 bucks whereas monthly disposables for 6 pairs nis only like $60.... I wonder how much money is spent in a lifetime for d lenses....
I have a luv hate realtionship wif my glasses....It never seems 2 last long... D glasses dat u see is cost me a cool 450 buckeroos... Its not a branded one thou.... D actual price is only $250 bucks coz d multi-coated hi -index lens is a bit x and d gatal me wanted it in glass so dat it b thinner.... D lens broke twice and I had 2 replace it twice... N now d poor lens is cracked again... I accidentally sat on my poor speckie....
So in simple math :
Glasses = $300
Cost of lens replacement = $50 x 3 = $150
Total = $450
Ist tyme lens broke = Riz stepped on it ( Riz's fault)
2nd tyme lens broke = Lil Syura ketuk pakai besi (it was my fault coz I let her play wif it wen I nap)
3rd tyme lens broke = I sat on it.. (my fault)
I tink d money dat I spend on d glasses alone could tally up 2 b a substantial amt which can even pay for lasik treatment... Im indeed contemplating for lasik but not sure if its permissible by our religion.... But again d possibilities of getting perfect vision is not 100%... N some even said they would see halo visions at nite....
Uwahhhhhhhhhh.. Im super-duper upset... Degree naik + cermin mata pecah... Uwahhhhhh
