LRT entertainment
Im very bad wif d buses within Sengkang vicnity.... Actual fact, Im generally very bad wif buses.. Im betta taking trains and Im a pro in taking cabs *gulp* But I have 2 admit dat d feeder service in Sengkang sucks BIG TIME and d PTC should do something 2 improve d trunk services there.. Thank GOD I dun have 2 rely to any of d feeder services or LRT around as 1stly Riz would always ferry me ard and 2ndly my humble abode is strategically located near 2 d MRT, interchange, Compass Point so its juz mins away there..
Last weekend I had 2 send d kiddos 2 my sis-in-law house at ANCHORVALE as I have lessons 2 attend to... Techically speaking, it was a mere 5 mins drive from home or a 10 mins walk from my flat (COMPASSVALE RD)... For obvious reasons Riz has his werk commitments n so I had 2 make my own way there.... N as usual there were no cabs in sight. Ever notice dat cabs r always cruising ard wen they r not needed, n wen they highky sought after, there r none 2 b found... Grrrrrrrr.... I was 2 lazy to walk so I decided 2 hop on the LRT wif my kiddos.... D story unfolds : read on
There were 2 nyonyas... One nyonya in her late 60's wif her Indonesian maid and d other nyonya in her 50's wif her granddaughter who is about 4 years old.... They boarded d LRT 2 getha and d 4 year old pestered her grandma to unwrap d sweet... D grandma unwrapped d sweet n passed it 2 d little gal but d little gal dropped d sweet... D little gal den pestered her grandma 2 pick up d sweet for her (WAT A BRAT).. D grandma picked up d sweet and rinsed it wif d water from d water bottle...
D 70 year old grandma wif d maid then looked at d little gal and said "
Ah girl, dunt eat d sweet. Dirty u noe... Throw away
D little gal den stick out her little tongue and ignored d 70 year old grandma
D 70 year old grandma got offended, caused a stir and started nagging...
Ni mei you li mau (U go no manners).... N repeated it AGAIN n AGAIN n AGAIN...
D little gal oblivious 2 wateva rukus dat was going on ignored everything and was enjoying her LRT ride.. Her grandma was embarrased and apologised 2 d 70 year old grandma... But d 70 year old grandma was still offended and kept of nagging ...N she den switched from mandarin 2 malay to her maid.. ( WAT A TRI-LINGUAL tongue she got there)
" Anak parampuan (perempuan) memang ini machiam (macam ).. Manyak ( Banyak) kurang ajar"....
D 50 year old nyonya patience was wearing off. So she barked back...
Aiyah... Dis gal is only 4 years old.... Wateva u say she wont understand fully... There will be kids wen they r small they r good but wen they grow up they will be ROTTEN! But some kids wen they r small they r bad BUT wen they r BIG they r fillial...
I was anticipating a CAT FITE about 2 begin wif 2 NYONYAS bcoz dua dua tak mau kalah.. IN d end one of them alighted first and d debate ended there n then... But d 70 year old nyonya kept on nagging n nagging away.....
MORAL OF D STORY... It takes 5 mins 2 reach ANCHORVALE from COMPASSVALE and 10 MINS BY FEET... BUT IT TAKES 4EVA IN AN LRT RIDE... Took me close to 30 mins to reach my sis in law house.....
