Taxi Ride From Hell
Last nite I had 2 take a cab again as Riz has 2 was attached 2 Pasir Gudang due 2 werk commitments... As usual after 8pm wen theres no $1 peak period surchage, d cabs r nowhere in sight... D available ones r either cruising wif 'Hired Sign' wif no passengers inside or hired wif passengers... I stood by d roadside carrying 13kg Syura on one hand n holding on 2 14kg Ash on d other hand... Waited n waited for almost half an hour... Finally my agony was over after 35 mins of waiting....Being tired from standing too long, I only realised dat the cabbie is not heading to d expressway but going pass all d unnneccesary routes...
Me: Hello uncle.. Im going 2 Sengkang u noe... U now Sengkang Compassvale Road...U should go by TPE n not all over SPore u noe...
Cabbie : HUh??? Den go by where???
Me: ^^&&%%##$$!!!!
D cabbie then travelled by d bus route of bus no 87 passing by Eunos, Ubi DRiving Centre, nooks n crooks of Hougang.... EVen in Hougang he tried 2 fool me by going in n out of roads...
Me: Hello uncle, u tink u r bus no 87 is it??? Y r u going thru bus 87 route??
UNcle : Huh??? Den go by where???
Me : %%$$##@@!!!!! I wanted 2 F d cabbie rite there but wif my 2 kiddos I tried 2 control my emotions.. Its no good 2 b shouting vulgarities in front of d kiddos....
IN d end I was d one who gave him d directions.. MIte as well I took over d wheels...N d meter was 14 bucks by d time I reached Sengkang from Bdk.. A normal fare would only be 8 bucks.... I wanted very much 2 deduct it from d darn cabbie BUT after I realised dat hes old n wobbly n a blur F, I decided 2 forgive him n began 2 pity d old man... After all I still have dis sense of 'tak sampai hati' on top of my short tempered-ness... IM not dat bad after all.... :)
Im even more determined 2 continue my practical lessons on an aggresive schedule rather than dilly-dallying my ways... But Im still wondering y r all d instructors macam kepala B***???? Kalau aku dah tau drive, takkan aku enrole as a student, mite as well aku jadi instructor....
