Stay home Tuesday
4 days out straight in a row is enuff 2 tire me out.. Dat doesnt include d tonnes of unfinished housewerk awaiting me at home!!! I for one is not into maid, not even any part-time helper as none of them could do d job as well as me.. Being a clean freak and a perfectionist (in cleanliness only), I demand d job done 2 b of d same standard as me.. Having a maid / part time helper wil do no justice 2 my abode.. Hindrance mayb.... From young Ive always been very particular about they way the clothes are being folded and hanged i.e pants in front, shirts arranged in collar n color... D floor has 2 b spick n span wif no strands of hair or bread crumbs on it..I tink I can score in d Guiness Werld of Record for d no of times I sweep d floor every day.. Upon waking up, after d kiddos had their lunch, again in d afternoon, before I sleep n in between snacking... N my mooma has made me clean d entire house since my primary school days.. Failure 2 do so will end up in spanking me plus loads of loads of nagging... So shes responsible for d freakiness in me!!
So 2day Ive declared a spring cleaning day again for my humble abode... D tiles r so shiny dat u can even see ya teeth in it!!!
Results : - Old curtains washed n replaced wif old curtains
: - Both d toilets washed n scrubbed
: - D kitchen cabinet wiped and shiny after 2 days of massive cooking
: - Plus nice homecook food.. Sambal paru, sup bayam, fishball soup n omellette, not forgetting jelly cocktail for dessert...
Plus d in between no of naps dat I managed 2 squeeze in wif d kiddos...Heavenly...
Checklist on my activity 2day
:- Family bonding activities - Napping 2getha counted?? PASS
:- Vocal training - Shouting at d kiddo wen they messed up their toys? PASS
:- Culinary Skill - Dishes for d entire family - vege + meat + egg + soup . PASS
:- Exercise - For d eyes mayb?? Napping in between = good exercise for d eyes .. PASS
:- Exercise - For d brains?? Surfing, checking email n updating my blog .. PASS
Verdict : A very hepi mooma wif two wonderful kiddos plus an amazing race oops amazing hubi.... Luv all of them loads n loads.... Syukur Alhamdulilah!! Oops its time for my Magrib prayers....
