HFMD
As part of my daily routine, I checked Lil Ash palm n feet on Fri... I saw some pimple-like red spots on his palm..But theres no feva. no loss of appetite n no symptoms at all!!!! I quickly told Riz 2 change n brought him 2 d GP at Compass Point.... But hubby insisted dat we brought him 2 d peditrician at KKH... He doesnt believe in d GP at Cp as they keep on changing doctors as how I change my underwear often.. Dats him always wan d best n 1st class for d kids .. n no-class 4 him.... Wen Lil Syura fell from d bed, without hesitation, he booked A1 ward 4 her as he prioritise comfort than anything else....Imagine d shock I was in wen d pedi said 'Yes its HFMD'...I will gv u 14 days of MC for ya child n I have 2 inform d ministry also.. In d meantime please inform d school asap as it will take some time for d info 2 reach d school.... Out of social responsibility I called d school 1st thing in d morning n d staff said '" R us ure he got infected from d school... U didnt bring him out anywhere??? I was quick 2 shoot her off " NOlah.. DOc say d virus in in his body since Mon... Weekdays I didntbring him anywhere lah... Even last Sat S n we juz wen 2 our parents hs... My niece n nephew r all fine...So please investigate ... n get d teacher 2call me... Of coz d teacher didnt call.. Pasal lah korang.. If byk budak lainkena jgn korang jadi popular 4 d wrong reasons sudahlah!!! masuk news ker like UNITY PRIMARY SCHOOL.... I also called my SIL 2 kip a look out 4 her kids as our kiddos were merrily playing 2gether 2days ago... N I did a chain of sms some 2 warn close frens about d virus...
I isolate Lil Syura in another room as I am trying 2 cut down d risk of cross-infections... N informed neighbours not 2 allow their lil-kids 2 loiter near my place as I dont want anyone 2 get infected...I bcame paranoid n wiped every piece of furniture with dettol n washed all clothings with dettol also... My house smells like hospital now!!!
In d meantime, d only discomfort dat Lil Ash has r juz ulcers in his mouth n as hes more on d fair side.. his lips stood out from d rest of his features.. Bibir dia dah mcm negro lah... a bit pouty due 2 d ulcers... Hes not down with feva.... he's fedding well... berak kencing also normal... So I'm not dat worried lah... I find how ironic n 'zero-!Q' how a person can b.. A fellow neighbour who attended d same school n class with Lil Ash was telling her son not 2 passby my house .. But she still send his son 2 school despite all d air-borne viruses there..... HFMD can only b infected from saliva n faeces.. Its not as bad as SARS... Its not dat highly contagious....I juz hope my son will get well soon (Hes still active mind u)........ In d meantime I have a new addition in d family n hes named DETTOL!!! Very hardworking clean n hygienic..... Please pray for my sons speedy recovery, INSYAALLAH he will recover fully soon
